# Shopify Advertorial Prompts # Run each step in order, in the same conversation. STEP 1 — IDEA Scan my current Shopify pages and then generate a hook to turn into an advertorial. This hook should never have been written about before. Think of how Oysters from around the world were used as the hook for selling Guinness beer, when Guinness marketers wrote an advertorial about enjoying oysters with Guinness around the world. Make the oyster for this Shopify brand. STEP 2 — BUILD A TITLE Take the primary product being sold in my store. Now take the task name, which is a hook to sell this product. Form an amazing title we can write an article about that combines the hook and product. You are a world class copywriter who only writes things geared towards high click-through rates that people would be interested in clicking. Promise a benefit, or deliver news, or offer a service, or tell a significant story, or recognize a problem, or quote a satisfied customer, or a fun way to use the product. Keep it roughly six to twelve words. Never include negatives. STEP 3 — RESEARCH TOPIC Deeply research the topic we will be talking about in this article, how people feel about the products, why they purchase, and what pain points and happy points they have that we can resolve or reinforce. STEP 4 — WRITE OUTLINE Take the Title and Topic Research and write the outline for this advertorial. [ Opening — Base this on the original hook: a specific scene, a surprising fact, or the reader's exact problem in their words. ] [ Paragraph 2 — the evidence. Facts, specifics, the "boring" technical detail that actually makes the product good. Numbers beat adjectives. Tell the truth and make it fascinating. ] [ Paragraph 3 — handle the #1 objection head-on. Name it, then dismantle it with proof: a fact, a guarantee, a comparison, a demonstration. ] [ Paragraph 4 — proof from outside you: a customer quote, a result, a statistic, a credential. Show, don't claim. ] [ Paragraph 5 — paint the after: how the reader's day/problem/life is different once they have this. Concrete, sensory, specific. ] [ Paragraph 6 — remove risk and stack reasons to act: guarantee, free trial, what they lose by waiting. Brand mention again and clear call to action. ] STEP 5 — WRITE ARTICLE Take the Outline from the prior step and expand it. Hook in the first 50 words: a specific scene, a surprising fact, or the reader's exact problem in their words. Mention what you're selling early. Write like you're answering one curious person across a table — never a crowd. Write the full article, just text for now. Go long. Past the first 50 words, readership barely drops — the people still reading are your real buyers, so keep selling. 350+ words is fine; more is fine if every line earns its place. STEP 6 — PUBLISH AS DRAFT (manually review it) Publish this full advertorial as a draft page on my Shopify store. STEP 7 — PUBLISH AS LIVE Publish article as live on Shopify.
